VMS Hires Director for Growing Manufacturing-Focused Team

VMS welcomes Javier Masini, CVS, CPCE. Javier has more than 20 years of experience in value engineering (VE), tear-down analysis, lean, and six sigma for the manufacturing and construction industries including automotive, healthcare and electronic consumer products, specialized equipment and tools, oil and gas, mining, civil works, education, buildings, and transportation. He is a Certified Value Specialist (CVS) and Certified Product Cost Expert (CPCE). As a Director for VMS, Javier will be responsible for developing new business in the manufacturing and private sector and collaborating with Vice President David Eisenberg and his team. Together, they will be dedicated to supporting clients in this growing market.

Javier also brings a passion for training others in the value methodology having taught more than 2,000 professional engineers in Lean Six Sigma systems and VE. He created the first VE university course in Latin America that was granted official certification from SAVE International. This will continue in the fall as he restarts a virtual class as a professor at the Universidad Panamericana.

When he is not helping agencies problem-solve and improve processes, you can find him sharing his love of historical movies and telling stories.
