Alison has been in the communications industry for nearly 15 years. Her experience includes spearheading outreach campaigns, managing marketing plans, and ad buys, creating a variety of content for print and digital applications and working with the media. At VMS, Alison directs internal and external outreach campaigns to impart VMS communications with clarity and expand awareness of our management consulting expertise.
Contract Compliance Manager
Angela ensures VMS is in compliance with our contracts and budgets. She also manages the company’s insurance, timekeeping, multiple project databases, timesheet, and expense report trainings and assists with internal reports.
Assistant Accounting Manager
Barbara works with the VMS’s internal team which handles financial operations and reporting. She assists in reviewing, categorizing and approving expense reports, reviewing VMS contracts for client and subconsultant invoicing accuracy and appropriateness. She also coordinates with the team to provide assistance and maintenance of the flow of VMS business and financial operations.
Accounting and HR Manager
Cheri’s invaluable work in managing all of the company’s accounting and human resource functions helps keep VMS running smoothly. Cheri has been with VMS for over 10 years.
Jessica Combs, VMA
Jessica is responsible for VMS’s Program/Project Coordination and Contract Management support needs. She serves as the primary contract management interface for the VMS Operations group and requestor of Project Controls staff support. Jessica began with VMS in 2002 and has served as technical editor, VE team assistant and proposal coordinator during her tenure. Her primary tasks as Program Manager include managing contracts and task orders, maintaining and updating VMS’s database and schedule, and preparing fee proposals and study budgets.
Assistant Accounting Manager
Kim has over 25 years in the accounting industry. She works on managing expense reports, client invoicing and a wide variety of other accounting tasks to keep our business on track.
Mariah Brink, VMA
Mariah is a Value Methodology Associate, fulfilling a variety of roles such as technical editing, on-site study assistance, QA/QC and marketing support since she joined VMS in 2010. In addition to her current responsibilities in marketing, she has assisted on over 40 VE studies, Function Analysis Concept Design (FACD) workshops, and Design Charrettes in the past decade. She has also edited hundreds VE study reports and technical memoranda for projects including Project Control engagements, Process Improvement Studies, Highway/Transit, Bridges, Water, and Wastewater Facilities, Military Facilities and Infrastructure Construction, Port and Navigation/ Marine Facilities, and Manufacturing Process Studies.
