Antonia Nicols provides support and technical report editing for Value Engineering Studies, Value Analysis Studies, Function Analysis, and Concept Development workshops, and Design Charrettes. In addition, she collaborates on Organizational Effectiveness initiatives for VMS clients. Antonia brings over eight years of consulting and organizational development experience in large-scale technology and design projects.
Ashley Wood, MSOD, VMA
Assistant Organization Effectiveness Manager
Ashley assists in managing workshops and organizational effectiveness studies. She supports VMS studies from initiation through completion with several years of experience in facilitation, cross-cultural consulting, leadership development, organization assessment and effectiveness, team alignment, and performance improvement, curriculum development, education, and execution. Ashley has a Master of Science in Organization Development (MSOD) from Pepperdine University.
Senior Change Manager
Brad assists our clients in making transformational changes that move them forward and help them obtain their goals. Brad has over 20 years’ experience in planning, coordinating and executing successful organizational improvement programs, with a record of improving operational and business infrastructures, operating stability, effectiveness, and profitability. Brad has a Master of Science in Organization Development (MSOD) from Pepperdine University.
Dalton LaBoskey, PE, CQE, CSSGB
Assistant Value Manager
Dalton is a California Licensed Professional Engineer. He has worked on several infrastructure megaprojects like the Bay Bridge and the California High-Speed Rail as well as multiple process improvement projects for the Division of Environmental Analysis at Caltrans. At VMS, Dalton focuses on assisting various Organization Effectiveness workshops and studies.
Damon Yeutter, VMA, ENV SP
Damon is a certified Value Methodology Associate with SAVE International. Damon leads technical teams on value-based studies of all types and guides clients through program and technology implementation efforts and collaborative analyses of projects, programs, and business processes. Damon previously worked as an Analyst for a global consulting firm.
Dave Roggenkamp, CCP
Dave is a Certified Cost Professional with over 40 years in the engineering industry. Throughout his career Dave has developed a wide base of knowledge, including demonstrated experience in organization management, estimating methods and procedures development, technical estimating, review and validation support. Dave is based in the Houston, Texas area.
David Eisenberg, VMA, CSSBB, CMQ/OE, CQA
Dave is a Value Management Associate with nearly 20 years of experience managing multi-level improvement projects with both public and private sector clients. Dave is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence. He is an active member of the American Society of Quality (ASQ) and is currently serving as the Membership Chair on the Government Division Leadership Council. At VMS Dave supports teams in creating continual improvements in quality, cost, and delivery for our clients.
Doug Leo, CCP, CEP, FAACE Hon. Life
Director of Cost Estimating
Doug has more than 30 years of total cost management, professional estimating and project consulting experience. He has been responsible for the preparation, review, and validation of conceptual and detailed estimates for domestic and international capital projects ranging from $200,000 to over $10 billion in size. He specializes in capital projects of strategic importance, utilizing new technologies and those involved in the use of parametric estimating methodologies.
Eric Ho, PMI-RMP
Director of Risk Management
Eric has nearly 20 years of experience in the construction consulting field, including roles in risk management, project management, cost management, scheduling, estimating, and project oversight. He has worked on various projects across the country, including infrastructure, government, financial, pharmaceutical, hospitality, residential, retail, and academic sectors. Eric is a Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) certified through the Project Management Institute. He is currently serving on the CMAA (Construction Management Association of America) sub-committee for risk management. Eric has a Master of Engineering (M.Eng) and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) from the University of Michigan.
Fred Kolano, CVS-Life, FSAVE
Director, Value Management
Fred is an industrial engineer with over 45 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and value management. For more than 15 years he has facilitated value engineering and process improvement studies and led training for government and industrial clients. Fred has demonstrated experience in facilitating groups through intense problem-solving workshops. His value engineering assignments have included facility upgrades and process improvements in the chemical and aerospace industries, environmental restoration and waste management project design, transportation facilities, and management processes.

Giuseppe assists in designing and facilitating on-target, impactful training through a variety of techniques and strategies for a wide range of audiences and industries. Giuseppe’s background of nearly 15 years includes building high-performing teams, leadership development, organization design, strategic planning, sustainability, and change management. Giuseppe has a Master of Science in Organization Development (MSOD) from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School.
Jeff Rude, CVS
Senior Value Manager
Jeff has over 15 years of experience in design and construction, product and service innovation, strategic investments and cash flow optimization. He has special expertise in facilitating planning level studies that help to build solid planning, design, and strategy. His background includes working as a consultant, facilitator and Value Specialist helping public sector and private organizations manage and improve the value of their projects and operations. Passionate about pushing the boundaries of the value methodology, in 2017, he successfully sold a franchise that he bought four years earlier specifically to apply the value methodology to both bottom line cost controls as well as revenue acceleration. Through the four years of ownership, the business revenues grew by triple and double-digit percentages and has continued to grow from a sustainable business model post-sale. Jeff is also an adjust professor at SKEMA, France’s largest business school. Jeff brings his love of human potential, meaningful strategy, value innovation and transubstantiation(n) to the world of and management consulting.
Senior Project Controls Specialist/Scheduler
Joby is a Construction and Project Management consultant with over 25 years of experience specializing in large infrastructure projects. He has gained extensive hands-on experience in these fields as well as the management of crews, execution of large projects, and proficiency in reading plans, project bidding, and field communication with engineers. In his extensive career before joining VMS, Joby held a variety of positions, from project controls analyst to project manager to construction superintendent, ranging across a wide range of well-established firms: Newcomb Anderson McCormick, Motive Power, Construction Management West, Hetch-Hetchy Water and Power, and Tico Construction.
Jodie Puzio, CVS, CAPM, ENV SP
Jodie oversees project coordination and contract management for the VMS Project Controls team. She serves as the primary contract management interface for the VMS Project Controls group supporting King County, Seattle Public Utilities, NAVFAC, and other contracts primarily involving Project Controls staff. Jodie brings over ten years of professional experience in project management and business controls with an engineering background and experience in various functional areas. Her project support experience ranges from planning, through design and construction, to technical editing, business operations, and coordination.
Kelly Martin, VMA
Assistant Value Manager
Kelly’s work experience includes administrative duties, fundraising, data analysis, and customer service positions. Kelly assists in facilitating workshops and writing, formatting, compiling, and editing reports in support of VMS Value Engineering and Project Controls services.
Project Controls Specialist/Scheduler
Lisa is a Project Controls Specialist with a strong background in process related knowledge. Her work experience includes project/program scheduling and reporting, value analysis, portfolio development, software implementation, and qualitative and quantitative risk analysis. She has supported projects in a variety of industries such as renewable energy, USACE Military programs, transit construction, public infrastructure agencies, and hospitality. At VMS, Lisa focuses on supporting the schedule, risk and project controls aspects of projects for clients such as Seattle Sound Transit and King County Wastewater Treatment Division.
Megan has over 10 years’ experience in the engineering field. Her skills include developing, maintaining, and tracking project plans including financial forecast, staffing, and scheduling. At VMS, Megan assists in coordinating projects and client estimations.
Phil Mok, VMA, CF APMP
Assistant Value Manager/Project Controls Specialist
Phil has nine years of international, multidisciplinary experience in marketing, business development, communications, contracts, human resources, and project management. He has a background in working with AEC and construction management consulting firms in the New York City area. Phil will assist with East Coast projects.
Assistant Value Manager
Rae is an Assistant Value Manager and technical editor with over 15 years of experience. She assists in the coordination, planning, and facilitation of workshops/work sessions for VMS’s military and public agency clients across the country. Rae also writes, edits, formats and compiles value study reports.
Richard is a professional estimator with over 35 years in the aviation, environmental, commercial, institutional and residential construction industry. His experience also includes 18 years in construction management and program management. Richard possesses in-depth knowledge of the design, award and construction processes that can affect the cost and schedule of a project. Richard provides cost estimating and analysis services for VMS clients, as well as serving as VE Study Cost Estimator to help VE teams evaluate the cost impacts of the alternative concepts they develop.
Tyler Brenton, VMA
Assistant Value Manager
Tyler’s qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, facilitation skills, and reporting experience allow him to support a broad set of projects and services. His experience extends from planning and design, through monitoring and evaluation. Since joining VMS in 2018, Tyler has provided integral project controls support services for clients such as U.S. Department of State – Overseas Buildings Operations, Seattle-based Sound Transit, and King County Wastewater Treatment Division. Tyler has also supported Value Engineering studies and Charettes for Army Corps of Engineers and NAVFAC. Tyler’s experience prior to joining VMS includes four years of project design and management of health projects in developing countries.
