VMS began providing Value Analysis (VA) facilitation services for the California Department of Transportation in 1996. For the last 20+ years, our team leaders have focused on building relationships with Caltrans project management and engineers, understanding what the Agency, stakeholders and traveling public value most, and improving value for Caltrans projects. In 2011, VMS was awarded its first process improvement contract, through which we provide consulting on organizational effectiveness and internal business process improvement. In total, VMS has held 14 consecutive contracts over the past 20+ years providing facilitation services to improve the value of the projects Caltrans delivers and enhance the Agency’s overall effectiveness. Our expertise and ability to deliver successful results has culminated in more than 1,200 individual task orders and counting.
