Overview

The 100+ year old Ashokan Reservoir, made up of 5.5 miles of dams and dikes, is a major piece of the Catskill water supply system for New York City. The Dividing Weir Bridge separates two of its main basins. Multiple design options were being considered by NYC OMB and NYC Department of Transportation for the $558 million upgrade of these facilities for regulatory compliance, improved water quality, community enhancements, and sustainability goals.
